Forwarding Address

Forward invoices to your personal Tailride email address for processing.

Overview

Every Tailride account comes with a personal forwarding address ending in @fw.tailride.so. Forward any invoice email to it — manually or via an auto-forwarding rule in your mail client — and Tailride processes it and adds the result to your dashboard.

No setup or subscription is needed: the address is shown on the Forwarding inbox card in the Integrations tab (and during onboarding), with a copy button next to it.

What You Can Forward

The forwarding inbox handles much more than plain PDF attachments:

  • PDF attachments — processed directly
  • Image attachments (JPG, PNG) — converted to PDF and processed
  • E-invoice attachments (.xml, signed .p7m) — FatturaPA, XRechnung, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD, Facturae, and UBL/Peppol files are read directly, without OCR; unrelated XML attachments are ignored
  • Forwarded emails as attachments (.eml) — unpacked, and their attachments and body are processed
  • Emails without attachments — the email body itself is converted to PDF and processed (useful for receipts sent as plain HTML email)
  • Stripe receipt links — if the email contains a Stripe receipt or invoice link, Tailride follows it and fetches the actual PDF

Files up to 10 MB are supported.

How Processed Invoices Appear

Invoices received this way carry the Email forwarding source label — you can filter by it in the invoice list, and each invoice's history shows a "Received by email forwarding" event.

Your email skip rules apply to forwarded mail too — emails from skipped vendors or domains are ignored.

Don't confuse the forwarding address (getting invoices into Tailride) with Email Routing — a premium add-on that forwards processed invoices out of Tailride to external systems.
