Folders

A supplier can point at a folder on this computer instead of a portal. Use it for scans, a downloads folder, or the folder your accountant drops documents into.

How it works

• The app walks the folder up to 4 levels deep, skipping hidden entries.
• Every PDF and image it has not sent before is uploaded to Tailride.
• Files are recognised by a content hash (SHA-1), so moving or renaming a file never re-sends it, and clearing the invoice list never causes a re-upload.
• The file is sent with its own name and modification date; there is no invoice date, amount or number until Tailride has processed it.

Limits

• Files over 25 MB are skipped.
• A run takes at most 200 files; the rest go on the next run.
