File Name Settings
Customize how extracted invoice files are named.
Changes apply to new extractions only — existing files are not renamed.
Live Preview
The settings card shows a live preview of the resulting filename (e.g. 2026-04-12_Amazon_INV-1043.pdf) with a copy button, updating as you change options.
File Name Components
Enable and reorder components with the checkboxes and arrows:
{date}— the invoice date (enabled by default){vendor}— the vendor/supplier name (enabled by default){invoiceId}— the invoice's identifier (enabled by default){amount}— the invoice amount{currency}— the currency code
At least one component must remain enabled. The order of components determines the filename structure.
Date Format
Choose from over 20 formats: numeric (YYYY-MM-DD, DD-MM-YYYY, MM-DD-YYYY, YYYYMMDD), with month names (DD-MMM-YYYY → 15-Mar-2024, DD-MMMM-YYYY → 15-March-2024), and month-only variants (YYYY-MM, MMM-YYYY, etc.) — each also available with underscores instead of hyphens. Default: YYYY-MM-DD.
Other Options
- Separator — underscore (
_, default) or hyphen (-) between components - Uppercase filename — converts the whole filename to uppercase (e.g.
2024-04-01_AMAZON_INV123) - Enable renaming — when disabled, files keep their original names and the naming rules are not applied
Defaults
Restore default returns to {date}_{vendor}_{invoiceId} with underscore separator and YYYY-MM-DD dates. Settings apply after clicking Save.
